What the wine is made of
In the Savalan Valley grow dozens of grape varieties — from classic European to table grapes. From them is born the palette of Savalan wines.
Grapes are the alphabet of wine. Savalan's vineyards hold a rich collection of varieties, chosen for the local terroir.
Grapes
The estate grows 21 technical grape varieties — for making wine — and 14 table varieties. Among the technical ones are classics of world winemaking.
Each variety reveals itself in the conditions of the Savalan Valley in its own way, giving the wines their own signature — from light whites to dense reds.

Grapes
After hand-harvesting the grapes reach modern equipment: gentle processing and precise control of fermentation preserve what the vine gave.
Already at this stage the future taste is set — and the wine will gain its final character later, in the cellar.

The list of varieties is given from open sources; the make-up of the plantings changes over time.
